The purpose of different links
In practise you need only one link. Customers click "Customers"
-link and they will be directed to the customer section
which includes all the analysis.
Analysts can use the "Analysts" link and they
will be directed to the analyst section where they can
get instructions, download excel files, use analyst forum,
etc. Analyst can of course also easily switch to the customer
section to see their own analysis, since every page on
the analysts section includes a link to the customer secton
on the right-top corner of the page.
Customers (analysis)
You can browse the analysis from other analysts and add
forum comments on your analysis (or of course comment
others).
Normally, as you have returned your analysis to the database
and are not reserving any more companies, you need only
this section (for forum comments) as the numbers are updated
directly from Excel. Analyst pages are relevant only when
you would like to update background info which is rather
static.
Analysts
This section is the most relevant in the beginning of
your analysis. There you can reserve a company and in
the main page follow the process of inserting your model
to the database.
After you have managed to get your analysis to the database,
in the Analysts section you are able to set and update
the company background information. Also you can prefill
Excel models for other analysts and see user statistics.
