About paying the analyst fees
When can the fees be paid?
You can request for the salary to be paid anytime you
have enough income. However, if you choose the fee to
be paid as normal salary (see option 2 below), there is
a minimum limit of 50 euros that can be paid out.
How can I receive the fees?
You have two options:
- Let us pay some costs that are related to your
analyst work (e.g. internet connection, travelling costs,
new computer or computer equipment).
- The fee can be paid as normal salary (only
for Finnish analysts).
- Send us a bill about the analysis.
Transaction and social costs
Transaction costs (all options)
If your fee is paid as cost or as a bill, the transaction
cost for you is 2 euros. If your fee is paid as salary,
the transaction cost is 12 euros (including 10 euros to
be paid for accounting office for each salary).
Social costs of the salary (only option 2 and only Finnish
analysts)
If the fee is paid as salary, we will reduce Valuatum's
social costs (35%) from it. For example if you would like
to get 1000 euros as salary before personal taxes, your
income will be reduced by 1350 euros.
What should I do when I would like to get my fee?
Option 1: costs
Send us
- an original receipt of a cost and
- your bank account number.
Option 2: fee as salary - Finnish analysts
- Go to the Analyst section and click the Income button.
- Select My income.
- Fill the amount that you would like to get paid to
the paying request table. (The amount that is filled
there already is the maximum amount you may get with
your current analyst income.)
- Send us your
- tax card (if you haven't
done it yet)
- bank account number
- home address and social security number (may be found
already on the tax card)
- The salary will be paid on the 20th day of the following
month.
Option 3: send us a bill
Send us a bill (for example) by email if you have your
own company or if you are a non-Finnish analyst and want
the fee to be paid as a salary. You can see the maximum
amount in Analyst section - Income - My income page. It
is your responsibility to pay your local authorities the
taxes and the social costs involved. We merely pay the
whole amount to your bank account (we only reduce the
possible bank fees and the transaction fee (2 EUR)).
To get the fee, please follow carefully these instructions:
- Fill in this
Excel sheet all the information cells written in
CAPITAL letters.
- Send the sheet to us by e-mail.
Please note that:
- the due date is the one on the Excel sheet (if it
is two weeks from the receive date of the payment request,
otherwise we will add the two weeks there ourselves)
- the payment will be paid on the due date
- there will be no further notice about
the payment taking place
- the payment will arrive on the recipient’s bank
account as soon as the transfer between the banks is
done (ask for the precise amount of days from your own
bank)
