Quick Help - HOW TO MAKE OWN MODELS?
|
In Valuation application you have a possibility to fill
up own company models. You can either start with a blank
company model grid or estimate numbers for some quoted
company according to your own views. Hence, you can create
a totally new company analysis (perhaps for your own company)
or make your own analysis for e.g. Nokia.
The following screenshot tour guides you with the formation
of an own company model.
Opening an empty model
|
If you want to open an empty model, click in the Models
page the button 'New Empty Model'.
|
 |
Then you can fill in some information about the analysis
and the analyzed company. This is however optional.
Click "Continue" when you want to proceed.
|
 |
Minimum data required to be inputted in a blank model
|
Next, the company model opens and you can start filling
it up / modifying it.
First, specify income statement figures for the latest
history year.
|
 |
In addition, you have to define balance sheet figures
for the latest history year.
|
 |
Also, you have to specify estimate year´s WACC
by entering all of its determinants into the model (the
model computes WACC automatically based on the inputted
figures).
|
 |
Finally, you have to enter the number of shares outstanding
in order to have the model working properly. Thus, now
the model can compute Fair value for the share.
Also, if you want the model to calculate share price
potential, you have to define current share price.

 |
Saving the changes
|
When you are finished with the analysis, click Save-button
and the accompanying page opens.
Now you can save the model either at server or at local
disk for later use.
