15. Prepare Excel model for database update
|
The last preparation for database update happens
in your Excel model.
You have to make these settings only once for each
new Excel model, unless the information changes
(e.g. company changes its name).
Cells in I-main
 company's
name (cell F1)
currency
(cell F2)

Note! Company name in your Excel model must be
written exactly same way as in the database.
The following is required only in older versions
of Excel model:
Cells in Database-interface sheet
Database-interface sheet is the last sheet on the right.
The cells to be changed are blue and they are the following
(write values to the D column):
username
& password
email
(optional; write if you want to get ok and error mails
from the process)
server
(value: http://server.valuatum.com)
your
company 's name / freelance country *
(currency)
**
* Freelance analysts should write their country (Finland,
Baltics, Sweden, etc.) to the "Your company's name"
cell.
** If you have a very older version of Excel model, the
currency field can be found in the Database-interface
sheet. In the current version it is in the I-main sheet.
