There are 3 different ways which you can use:
- Copy-paste tables and graphs from Excel model
output sheets (see
about O-sheets in Excel).
- Copy-paste tables and graphs from ValuViews pages
(see
demo pages).
- Word-templates which fetch data from the database
directly to your research reports (ask
for more info; there is no tutorials material for
this yet).

The answer depends on what you would like to change:
- Output-sheets: update
empty model, run conversion and inform Valuatum
afterwards.
- Own input sheets (not I-main or I-divQ): just
go ahead, you can do anything you like with them.
- I-main and I-divQ, I would like to input formulas
instead of figures: just go ahead with cells in
blue font and own areas; formulas and even external
links are allowed.
- I-main and I-divQ, other changes like new rows
etc: contact Valuatum, we will do it for you.
How to convert an old Excel model to a new model base
(conversion)?
A conversion is needed if you would like to for example
insert a new output sheet to a current model or modify
the models in other ways. Through conversion you get the
change to all models without a need to do a lot of manual
work.

should I do?

You can contact us anytime,
please send us email and we will answer you as soon as
possible.
If possible, please copy the error message from the update
process window (dos prompt) by choosing the text and clicking
'Enter'. Then paste it normally to the email message.
You may also send us the whole log file from C:\valuatum\Excel2DB\excel2db.err.

errors, please try to solve the first error first.

How share prices are updated to Platform / where they
come from?
Share prices are updated every evening (close prices)
to the database. The prices are offered by Telekurs. (Click
for more information about the architecture of Valuatum
Platform.)
When you update your Excel model to the database, the
latest available price(s) is used for calculating output
parameters (e.g. P/E). This means that you do not have
to update the current share price to the Excel model yourself.
