17. Provide company background information
After you have inserted model to the database, set company
background information. This can be done in the analyst
pages:
- Go
to the Analysts section main page.
- Choose Edit company background information
link from the phase 5.
- Choose your company and fill in the information.
Background information can be seen in Company Views pages
(the 'Background' sub page).
Remember that company background information is meant
for quite static information: company address and www,
main owners, description of the company (business operations
and products) etc. Provide all other necessary information
in company forum as that is the place where customers
look after it. The only thing on background -page that
is not perhaps very static is the "analysts' comments
on recommendation". Perhaps we will later on also
abolish it from the background page totally as it is information
which is not as static as everything else on background
page and it is also information that should absolutely
be on company forum. So remember not put comments on estimates
or quarter update information on background page but put
them into the company forum. More about company forum
